KU and Mahesh Sanskrit Gurukul agree on joint research

The agreement was signed between the Himalayan Center for Asian Studies (HICAS) under the University's School of Arts and the Ramananda Research Center (RRC) under the Gurukul on Friday. The two sides agreed to jointly conduct research on oriental languages, eastern philosophy, literature, culture and Himalayan civilization, as well as on ancient archives, manuscripts and yoga, Ayurveda and traditional medicine. Along with the agreement, Mahesh Sanskrit Gurukul, a leading university in the field of spiritual philosophy, and the KU, which is making strides in the field of technology, have agreed to exchange assistance. Vice Chancellor of the University Prof Dr Bhola Thapa and Chairperson of Mahesh Sanyasa Ashram Swami Ramananda Giri were present at the program. In the program conducted commemorating campaigner of Gurukul Education and Founder of Mahesh Sanyasa Ashram in Nepal Shree 1008 Dr Swami Ramananda Giri, various speakers discussed the special contribution made by Swami in the spiritual field. On the occasion, Prof Dr Bidyanath Koirala's book 'Purkheuli Bigyan' published by Ramananda Research Center was also released. –––
