The Lord Buddha Education Foundation hosts an onboarding session for The Hult Prize.

Kathmandu,20 poush ! The Hult Prize is an international competition that crowdsources solutions to a significant social issue from college and university students all around the world. Former President Bill Clinton launched it in 2009, and today it's regarded as one of the top social entrepreneurship competitions in the world.

Each year, the Hult Prize has a different theme, and participants are challenged to come up with innovative ideas to solve that year specific problem. Teams of students work together to develop and pitch their ideas, with the ultimate goal of turning their concepts into viable businesses or non-profit organizations. The theme challenge for this year is “Redesigning Fashion”, where participating students are required to launch an innovative social venture in the clothing and fashion industry to make it more sustainable.

LBEF Campus is excited to announce that we will be organizing the Hult Prize this year aswell and we encourage everyone to participate! This is a fantastic opportunity for students to showcase their ideas, gain valuable experience, and potentially turn their dreams into reality.

The competition begins at the local level, with students participating in pitch events at their respective universities. LBEF Campus will host its own pitch event, and the winning team will advance to the regional level, where they will compete against other universities in our region. The top teams from each region then move on to the global final, where they pitch their ideas to a panel of judges made up of industry experts and successful entrepreneurs.

Impact investing is a key component of the Hult Prize, and competitors are encouraged to consider how their ideas could have an impact on society and the environment. Winners of the Hult Prize get mentorship, access to a global network of resources, and financial and other support to help them make their ideas into reality. The Hult Prize has drawn a wide spectrum of competitors over the years from various backgrounds and nations. Additionally, it has received backing from a number of institutions, including top foundations and Fortune 500 businesses.

LBEF Campus is excited to bring the Hult Prize to our campus and we encourage all students to participate.
